Usually you will need a CBC (complete blood count) and Electrolytes prior to surgery.  In some situations, PT/PTT (blood clotting numbers), U/A (urinalysis), Chest X-Ray, and EKG may be needed as well.

If you are due for an annual physical with your primary care doctor, we encourage good health and preventive health maintenance with your PCP.  Pre-operative blood work can be done through that office and faxed to us 1 week prior to surgery.

If you prefer, you can get blood work at whichever facility, such as LabCorp, is nearest you.  The one nearest our office is one block away:

Where Do I Get A Pre-Op Screening Mammogram?

Prior to breast surgery, some women may need to undergo a base-line mammogram.  If you are due for a mammogram with your primary care doctor or ob/gyn, we encourage good health and preventive health maintenance with your PCP.  Mammograms can be done at any convenient facility and faxed to us 1 week prior to surgery.  The one nearest our office is one block away:
